Theory Anesthetic was created in 2005 by Chicago artist Mandy Matz. The music she creates is alternately beautiful, wistful, defiant, and hypnotic. Theory Anesthetic places familiar warm organic sounds in a new context and juxtaposes them with buzzing electronics to create a unique soundtrack to for modern life. In 2006 Matz decided to expand Theory Anesthetic as a live act. To complete her line-up Matz invited Matthew Golombisky on 6-string fretless bass & noise machines, Quin Kirchner on drums and Scott Schenke on lap-steel guitar. Tank Crash is proud to
have released
